I agree, but in the end, there is nothing you or I can do about it. People like Atherton, Gould, etc have made/will make millions and laugh as they put the dirt on the tombstone of visa/mc and recurring billing for this business. They are laughing all the way to the bank no doubt.

I think with this latest celeb scandal to rock adult internet, it will mark the end of cc billing for celeb sites. I know quite a few sites have already lost cc processing and anyone left are living on borrowed time.

Will it have time to surface and be profitable or has paris put the nail in the coffin for future marketing exploits via credit card?

Karma, i don't believe in it. People like Atherton don't have consciences and I don't believe in 'bad karma' - crooks, thieves, mobsters don't suffer any more tragedies and misfortune than the rest of us. Let's say Atherton got cancer, bunch of people would say 'ooooooo....bad karma, what goes around comes around' ........ what about the 10,000 honest people diagnosed with cancer today?

forget karma, the only way these type of people pay is when the law takes away their freedom and when you're talking about the tens of millions Atherton's making on the Paris Hilton and Jenna Jameson scams even at worst it would be maybe two years in jail.

I've been in this business for quite awhile and even though right now my income has taken a major kick in the ass I will not have anything to do with this whole Paris Hilton thing. I started this with the intentions of being in in for the long haul, not for quick money, scams or other bullshit, Personally, I'm fucking sick and tired of getting 100+ spams per day everyday having to do with that no brain slut paris hilton. It's scams like this that fuck things up for the rest of us. The more a surfer gets fucked the less they will buy memberships to porn sites and in the end we all lose.

that number of 'lost' customers is enormous. but few in this business cared or care about it - it's always been grab all the money you can now - who cares about the future. There are millions of surfers who have been duped by scams who will never join another site - and for every one of those there are the 10 friends they told that porn paysites are a scam.

I did - almost nothing was inside his paysites, maxiumum i'd say maybe $1,000 worth of content. Billed at 39.95 and 49.95 a month.
