Copyright Attorney for DMCA - Any recommendations?

Has anyone ever sued anyone for copyright damages? I have a real case where the guy copied my site word for word and he's actually making money from it. My site is very profitable so there are real damages involved.
Of course I can send DMCA letter and have his site taken down, but his site has been up for awhile and I'd like to sue him for damages.
Anyone ever do this? Any experiences?

thanks!

With my current DMCA situation I'm in the UK the thief is in Denmark and he's hosted in the States.. Maybe I could get the UN on the case..LOL
