Anyone know of a script that can grab screen caps from a directory full of clips?

Hi,

It's possable. I don't know of any but I know how you might implement something like that. Using automation to start Windows Media Player would give you a window handle that you could use to create the screenshot.

You could even batch the whole process and run it againts an entire directory.

If your asking for a script I assume your on a some sort of a *nix server so try using "Gallery". It will do what your asking.
