    Cell phone call forwarding...

I don't have a cell, so I'm not real familiar with what services they offer. But basically I want a phone that has the ability to forward incoming calls to my office number. I would guess this is called call forwarding, I really have no idea.

Do providers offer this service? And what are some of the better providers out today? I've heard a lot of complaints about Verizon...

I'm happy with Sprint, but then I barely use my cell.

Sprint is good, I forward calls from one cell to another or to my land line all the time. Go for high anytime minutes though or you'll be screwed. There is an additional fee for calls received that are forwarded. I get 3500 anytime and unlimited nights and weekends... also free pcs to pcs and free web. I get a $25% discount but the total bill is only $115.00 per month. Good Luck!

I have not used this service but Cingular offers the coolest forwarding I have seen yet.

Verizon rules. I have better coverage than anybody i ever see wherever i go. and i also use my cell phone as a high speed modem.

with verizon you can call forward but it is undocumented. i believe you still pay for the minutes when the call is forwarded but i'm not 100% sure.

i'll give you guys teh verizon call forwarding secret.

you dial *72 then the area code and number of where you are forwarding. so if the number to forward to was 800 555-4444
you would dial *728005554444 and hit send and you will hear a beep or two or something. this means your phone is forwarded.
                  to unforward just dial
                  *720
and hit send and you will hear the beeps. your phone is now unforwarded
