Discuss what's fucking going on, and which programs are best and worst. One-time "program" announcements from "established" webmasters are allowed.

Who has ICRA or Safesurf labeled sites?

I'll label my upcoming sites anyway but I would like to have your opinions or results.

Thanks

It doesn't hurt your traffic and it gives parents a tool to control their kids web access. It also gives you a defense on "intent" if it ever comes to that.

What are the negatives? I don't think there are any.

I do and they have an affect on SEO.
It's a very good thing to link from a raw domain to another raw domain with hits. ; )

my stuff is labeled.

it's the responsible thing to do.

you lose a little traffic because some corporate environments have content filtering turned on.

but your BW bill goes down a little because you do keep kids off your sites when parents have content filtering setup properly.

and there is another benefit.

no one can say you are intentionally trying to entice kids to your sites (misleading domain law) if you label your sites.

still, the best reason to do it, is because it's the RIGHT thing to do, kids should not have access to porn.

How true,

I hope that labeling becomes more common, as there is still too many sites out there without label or without a warning page...

i have some domains, the thing is i forget to label each new domain that goes up. They should make an option to bulk submit your domains and save us some time

Right, those might help for now...

Download your local copy

You may also configure apache to add those headers

Quote:
Header set pics-label: '(pics-1.1 "http://www.icra.org/ratingsv02.html" l r (cz 1 lz 1 nz 1 oz 1 vz 1) "http://www.rsac.org/ratingsv01.html" l r (n 0 s 0 v 0 l 0))'

Put this in your config file outside any block directive and the job's done. Every file served will include this label in its HTTP header.
And looks like Digimark giving free id's to "Protecting Kids with Digimarc?" program joiners to watermark images..

You can also watermark your content with your copyright etc, using that..
