How and when did you start in online adult?

What got you started in online adult? How long ago was it? What type of sites did you start with and what were you pushing?

I started back in 1997. I was surfing and came across an XPics ad. I clicked it and then saw the "Webmasters" link at the bottom. I think they were paying 12 cents a unique at that time. I signed up and created two free sites. One was a non-nude archive of Tyra Banks pics hosted on Tripod and another was a Lesbian free site called Panty Sniffing Dykes hosted on Porncity.

When XPics shut down, I went over to EZGreen until they shut down. Then I stopped for a few years and started up again last April. I was going to do an amateur paysite until all the Visa drama. Now I do a variety of different things, including free sites and galleries.

What's your story?

1996. I was 16 and editing video for a company called "Hot Media". They went away. Fringed in the industry on and off since then. Full-time at the moment.

What's your story?

Yes very good read but there's one problem it's just your sponsor
Wegcash isn't paying signups anymore they only want to shave?
I tried them they paid for 2 months then started shaving and I dumped them! this happen to my buddy signups for 2 months then he dumped them too, there loss, there a pretty stupid sponsor not to bright? there chat board is a gost town much like Maxcash's another DEAD-END end so this only means that theres know one promoting them!
our opinion unless you own the WEG program?

but your story was fine..

No, I don't own WEG.
I've been pushing them for over a year now. I have no reason to believe they shave.
In one year, only 2-3 checks have been late, and never more than 3 days. They pay weekly.
Their forum may not have the traffic GFY has, but it's not a ghost town. I have 1100 posts there. If you need help or have problems, post and Tonda, WEGgirl or Gabe will answer you within hours.
They're in the process of giving out $17K in prizes ($7K of which I won myself), they're launching new sites regularly, and they often offer special deals (for example, they're raising payout on free trial sites by 10% for two weeks, and they're raising the payout on their non-adult site from $2.50 per join to $5 per join for WEG webmasters).

So my opinion is that the problem is on your end, not theirs. How long ago did you send them traffic?

Started in 1996 with an adult paysite. Purchased content from Z-Master and the few other sites that were pushing content in those days. Started many other adult sites and niche sites tried everything once. Hit our niche idea in 2000 pushed the company up over the 2 million yearly revenue mark. Still work at least 13 hours a day. These days im moving money into the real estate market to start a mortgage company.

1997 - Mona and I were fucking around (literally) and posting up pics for fun... it started to cost money for bandwidth... so we started charging for it... and it continued from there.

You know now that I think about it I started even earlier. Had a dial up BBS (Major BBS) that had paid adult content on it. So like 1994. Jeez ...

I think I saw a little of these BBS days - I remember "BBS" was a keyword! :-) We developed some software that ya could, these days, call a "dialer" - excellent returns on that till the scams and proliferation started!

after recently quitting a shitty hard labor minimum wage job with my parents shitty pentium 1 computer in june 98 started a free celebrity site on fsn free servers, it failed horribly. i was advertising x-pics and made a pathetic 25 bucks but that 25 bucks was inspiration that i could make money. fast forward to the fall of 98, started another free celeb site on a small free host, found hollywoodwhores.com and starting making money, then i got paid hosting at janeys made more sites, and by the end of 98 i was making more than enought to live off.

You only made $25 with Xpics? Eeesh...

At 18 cents a click, you could have made that much a day clicking your own banners.

I started out in May 1998 after reading an article about online porn at Wired.com. I started off with free sites (I used Ultrateen and Xpics).

I've done every type of site imaginable

How I got started ... hmm well the reason I went full time (I'd been a pt for awhile) was - get this ....

I had the FBI and local DA's office both call me within an hour of each other. To my surprise and horror I was told a child molesting cyber stalker was after my daughter.
long story short - his computer had a map to our house, pics of her taken from his zoomed camera of her at school, had all of our schedules (times we leave for work/school, get home etc)
Local authorities had released the guy on bond and he'd disappeared, they wanted to warn me that he might very well be going to attempt to nab my daughter. It fit his MO

Needless to say I quit that day and became a fulltime at home internet working mom

1998 - I started the first version of my TGP on the FREE hosts just as a quest to prove there was something better out there. I went through 3-4 of the FREE hosts who kept giving out due to the traffic and then found a group to back the site in late '99. They've been paying the bandwidth ever since while I promote anything they want. I'm purely a freelance editor making my own income off of revenue sources and own the domain rights should the relationship ever end. Great people to work with, so hopefully that doesn't happen.

It was July 2000, I was helping Furious_Male promote his non-adult sites and noticed others were promoting porn. I talked to a woman I knew, she ran her own amateur site and used SexKey as an AVS. She told me she was making a lot of money with it. So I got some content, got 20 something sales my first day and I wasn't even trying (I had crappy free hosting with consoles on load and all LMAO)... it was only $10/sale but it became my full time job the first day I launched it.

The only regret I have is not starting back in 1997

I started back in 1997, but I had no fucking clue what I was doing. I could have made so much more money. The only resource site I visited was Ynot, but only to find free hosting or sponsor programs.

If I knew then a fraction of what I knew that, I'd have a shitload of cash right now.

sigh... yeah. Unfortunately back then, I had all the resources and what not, but I didn't have the clue about how much porn made. I didn't turn 18 until the end of 1997 anyway, but I wasted a few years with non-adult sites that didn't make a fraction of the money adult does. Like you, if I knew then what I know now.... ughh I can't even think about it LOL

Yeah, age was a problem too. I was 15/16 back then, so I was worried about making too much money. I kinda steered clear of PPS programs and went with PPC and email for the most part.

As it was, the checks in American funds from Xpics for a few hundred dollars were raising a few eyebrows at my bank.

Oh God, I was only 20 and depositing huge checks... the bank tellers would ask me what I did etc then take my thumb print. It was embarrassing

I read about free6.com in some computer magazine and about how much money that guy was making.
I was already making mainstream websites so I wanted to try porn sites.
Started programming on my TGP script when I was 17.
Got my first site (a TGP) and domain up 22 Feb 2002.
It was a site for swedish visitors, I think I made 35$ or something with it hehe.
The traffic was only like 1k, but I didnt have any trades or skimming.
I have been running porn sites ever since then and I like it alot.

Two years ago this month I decided that if Photorama, Scalett and Best Adult Content could make money for me brokering then we should be doing ourselves.

Best decison, after marrying Eva, I ever made. Took a few months to get going and away from shaving brokers, but today can tell the magazines to but we don't we got both sides covered.

3 more victims... that really fucking sucks.
the penalty for guys like this should be to cut off they're cocks and let them bleed to death.

I used to get girls set up on Ifriends back in like 99. Built sites then.

Have had my site since 2001.
