visa cb % being lowered
possible law changes effecting the biz

all of the above? this industry is always under constant attack, i don't think that's ever gonna change. there will always be closed minded people trying to shut porn down. or greedy people looking to earn a quick few million by enforcing ridiculous patents. i don't see things getting any better.

How about the end of PPS as a business model?

How about MANDATORY rebill announcements to subscribers?

How about IE Popup blockers in default mode?

Honestly I think the proliferation of pop-up blockers is going to play a huge role in our future, at every level of business. Pay-site owners have counted on pop-ups to squeeze every possible cent out of a captive surfer, and by default, affilates have depended on the same. Smart gallery and free-site builders have been playing the same game.

Marketing is going to have to get much tighter if we can't depend on exit pops to recapture "lost" traffic. We're going to have to find new ways to filter and redirect our traffic. I'm not worried about it; the adult biz has always been able to adapt and innovate. Change is ahead - so it's business as usual.

Just tossing this off the top of my head:

1: More honest marketing from affiliates, and more honest accounting from sponsors

2: Fewer chargebacks, more consumer trust

3: Encourages better marketing from both affiliates and sponsors

Edited becase "encourages" is a nicer word that what I had.

Tons of microniche sites

Micropayments

Beginning of the End of high payouts

Affiliate programs will change...the structure will, not the spirit.

Well we would all make more cash if TGP-MGP sites limited there galleries say to 6 pics non hardcore sams for MGP.

But it wont ever happen, next you will see 200 pic galleries and 20mb movies all showing harcore and these TGP-MGP owners will do anything for traffic so all you paysite owners get ready for the "Crunch-Time" AS Free Free Free is all TGP-MGP'ers can dish out. there will be pleanty of whores just wait....
