You know what really gets my goat about posts like this.
Our list is optin so either you put the email there or somebody else did. In the case that somebody else did we also send a confirmation email telling you that your email addy was submitted to our system and if it wasn't you then there is a link where it can be removed posted right in the email.
Also we do not hide our list program and even have an option for you to remove any email addy of yours you want.
Instead of taking advantage of these options people would rather come here and bitch and complain when they get emails like we did something wrong to them istead of taking the steps needed to get what they want.
The person making this post looks like they are not new with over 6000 posts. I would think they would be able to do what is needed to remove their email addy instead of making posts like this. Like i said all of our emails come from our optin list.
If your email is in there then you or somebody posted it.
And like i also said confirmations are sent for each email added.. so we can only figure that the confirmation was not responded to.
Again if you want your email addy removed just go to the site and do it no big problem to do.Comment

E-mail lists are a bit different. It's too easy for anyone to simply enter an e-mail address. With all the spam I get one little notice that looks like spam would get ignored like the rest of 'em. If you're taking the time to send a notice, why not include a link that MUST be confirmed before the name is added?
BTW, I also get e-mails from you (3 of them) that were never signed up for to e-mail addresses that never get used for anything but are (actually WERE) listed on a website page. No need to complain, my e-mail filters just auto delete them. I don't bother with remove links, too many of them just end you up on a hundred other spam lists. Not saying that yours does, but why risk it when I can simply auto-delete.Comment

We have been in business for over 5 years now and from day one we have had people saying all sorts of things about Pixmasters over the years. Well we are still here and going strong.
It seems that when a company comes in that can offer content at a reasonable price people want to do their best to do whatever they can to put this company down for what ever reason they can think of.
We offer good content for a VERY reasonable price. Prob the best prices on the net in fact!
This seems to threatin people somehow...WHY...i don't know.

I never optin for anything neither did I get a confirmation email or whatever else blahs you may say ever yet I've been getting those pixmasters spams for years until recently when I blocked it with my spam filter, why I never removed my email from your list? Cos that would only verify that mine is an active email so while you may remove it from one list, you may add it to another
But got no prob with it thou cos your spams are not the only ones I get, your spams are actually only a few every once in a while compared to hundreds that get filtered out everyday

I don't have problems with you Roscoe, never have, but if you're going to send out bulk email (which a LOT of people do and isn't neccessarily wrong in itself), don't tell ME I'm full of shit if I mention I got it and never asked for it. In fact, I get emails from a LOT of content providers, at least half unsolicited, most will admit it when asked. Marketing is marketing, trying to turn this into a "your business vs mine" thing is silly.

The only reason I mentioned MY email list is for comparison. If you aren't bulk mailing, shouldn't it be impossible for the people who didn't confirm to get the email? If I'm incorrect, please correct me and I will be more than happy to apologize for any error. But if that's the case, I'd LOVE to know who has access to my email address aside from me, since I run my own mailserver and always have.Comment

I have removed myself.... it's called SPAM filter. If I knowingly subscribe to something and want to cancel I use the remove link and remove myself. BUT, if I end up on a list where I didn't add myself, chances are the removal link is just going to be ignored, or worse end me up on even MORE SPAM lists because I've now verified there's someone at the other end of the ADDY.Its obvious its easier to bitch than to just do what needs to be done no matter how simple it is.Comment

I appreciate the offer, but having the few you send removed won't make much of a difference.
Still, I'm happy to send them to you so you can verify they really exist. I didn't find a specific filter for pixadult so it must be getting caught by a more generic filter. I just added a new one to specifically look for "pixadult" and move it to a special folder so it will get ignored by the rest of the filters. As soon as one shows up I'll send it to you.

Just for reference... I get a LOT of emails to [email protected] for just about all of my sites. That email doesn't exist (eg. Never used or posted in any way, shape or form).
