One night my brother and I are sitting in my hot tub on my acreage and looking up at the stars. We were quit accustomed to watching shooting stars so, when I saw one streaming across the sky I wasn't surprised at all. Untill it STOPPED DEAD IN IT'S TRACKS! My brother didn't see it so I pointed it out to him and he said I was nuts. Then it fucked off straight up and dissapeared.
He was freaked right out so of course I went and got more beer and laughed at him. So if you ask me, I BELIEVE.:eek7

I read somewhere that there are more stars (just stars) in the universe than there are grains of sand on all the beaches on earth. with that being the case the odds on there not being life out there has got to be huge.

I'm not sure if we have ever been visited by extraterestrial life, but if you think how far technology has come on in just the last 50 years on earth, if life on another planet got their shit together a few thousands years before we did, think how advanced they would be, and reaching distant galaxy's would probably be easily achievable.
