Where's the InterNext hype?

Man it seems like this year everyone is just like "I am thinking about going to this show called Internext, in January" and then they say "Yeah, Whatever".

Where is all the hype? Normally people are pimping their parties, there are all kinds of things going on, people getting ready to throw down something fierce, and this year it seems pretty dead. Granted the parties are more mellow this time around due to ROI and such, but shit , it's almost like I have to put a mirror under everyones nose to see if they are still breathing.

What is going to be "THE" place to be this year? I mean who is having the best get together. So far it seems like the poker event put on by Hawgs Cash, ADS, et al., and maybe the Amateur Bash.

What else is going on?

Andy

Here's the hype about one event we're sponsoring:

The Webmaster Poker Tour

We've already had some great responses for attendees and expect this event to be very well attended.

The hype is gone because of the oversaturation of non-industry types flooding the events!

This year will be a year of invited guests at classy events and a lot more networking.

This is definitly a step in the right direction!

So many shows now days.

All the same thing.

Internext however is the big one and always great to be in Vegas.

But the luster is now what it used to be.

Problem with the Internext hype is that it falls to close to Xmas and New Years so people are thinking about them more. I think they hype starts just a few days before the show and then nobody goes because they are tapped from presents and partying from New Years.

I'd go more often if they had more workshops and information sessions.

I don't think companies have the big cash to throw around for parties and big booths this year. It has been a rough year with all the new rules.

Ok This will be my second internext and my second year in "the Business" My company turns a profit and we are positioned to have a great year of growth.

I am a little worried that I won't be able network like I need to because of clicky type of situations allthough last internext resulted in some good contacts.

Well Vegas can never be bad and I have never been turned down at a VIP LINE with four or five hot young chicks. So look for me I will be the guy who dont giva fuck with some dope chicks playin craps sippin Jack and if we can make some money great!!
