Anyone work from a lap top and just go anywhere they like? coffee shop, book store, etc. or do the majority of you just work from a home office?

Do you get less done going to remote locations doing work? (more distractions)

I do all my work on my laptop, and I never leave home without it. As long as there is a connection nearby, Im working and submitting. People get annoyed when I bring my laptop to a gig or a meeting or social gathering, but a young webmasters work is never done!

i use a laptop all the time. have a server at home and in the office, so all i need to do is pop it out, plug in the wireless card an i am ready to go 24/7 and we just had a coffee shop open up in town with highspeed hookups so the wife an i go there for lunch on occasion and take work with us

I use both workstation and laptop, but most of my work is done on the laptop.

I use my laptop when I feel like going out to the backyard, or to read e-books in bed. It's nice to be wireless.

I have 2 laptop, it is really good choice for work. Of course if you designer you need workstation.

Same with me, I have 2 workstations in my home-office and my laptop and I do more work on the laptop!

batteries dont really last long enough these days to make them "portable" like they should be. I mean 2 fucking hours, hard to even watch a damn DVD on a laptop without a power connection nearby.
