Your design sucks, your pages are way too cluttered, you have way too many traffic leaks, etc etc etc. You should get someone with a bit of experience to help you :2 cents:

if you dont have money to invest straight up it will take a while, though if you already know the ins and outs of this business it wont be too hard to get there from almost nothing. though i rekon the work will be as boring as all fucking hell and not really worth it to maintain if you value your youth/life :-)

i think 500$/week could be done in 3-6 months though still depending on the quality of the webmaster and amount of effort put in -- 8-10hrs/day 5 days/week etc.

slackologist 12-11-2003 06:07 AM

but to answer the question, i never made over $1000/week from this business, i knew it was possible but dont enjoy the work enough to make it my full time occupation -- family is more important than being glued to a fucking computer all day/night. :)

Not sure if this is a Mozilla thing, but your toplist popped OVER your site. It took me a few seconds to realise that I was looking at a toplist rather than your tour.

Also, your warning page reads like a tour, which is a bit strange... shouldn't you be trying to get surfers to enter your site so they can see the tour? :)

What's wrong with the design, give me a suggestion.

I think your design is wayyyy too wide. Set that table at a normal browser size.

At a glance, I don't know what you are selling. Your focal point should be a hot babe. Something to grab the surfer and make him want to click.

Top title is hard to read.

Page is very busy.

Good luck!!

It took one month. I was stupid though. ( still am in some ways ).
It was so freaking easy to make money with my site that I got lazy. I was lucky cause there were other webmasters who would team up and give tips.

I already had a fan base from doing cartoons and comics so that added to things.

One thing I learned early is you don't need umpteen people to sign up just that loyal few of 500 to 1,000 who'll buy whatever you sell. 1,000 people a month spending $10 is that $10k that can be a good nest egg.

Exclusivity is the mainstay.

My site is easy, just toons made by me and links to cool stuff. It's so foolproof I should just focus on traffic because the more traffic I get the more sales I get. Plain and simple but I don't buy traffic because why would I have traffic from people who weren't looking for what I'm selling in the first place.

Plus, I get daily requests for all kinds of art, consultations etc. so that adds to the income. You'ld be suprised how many adult webmasters are actually very good writers who needed an illustrator for their books or projects that are mainstream. It can get unbalanced some times but believe it or not it's kept me goin' for years! So now I realize I need to just crank out more toons for those loyal fans and let them sell the site for me.

Make your fans happy! ( wish I could find somebody with some big tit model content that actually knows the models! )

Second day I was in the business, was paid $40 to fuck a girl on film. It was 1968.

With photography took a couple of months, was selling photos of girls through the post. Once the ad came out in the back og the mags I was picking up $80 a day, in 1977.

Do it right this industry is easy to make money in. Do it wrong and you will get crushed.
