How much is this worth?

Im putting together a list of the paid members that have joined our adult sites in the last 2 years and I have 101,467 email addresses. Got me thinking about possibly reselling it. What is a email list of 101,467 paid members worth these days?

Hehe =) Im not offering it for sale just wondering what kind of value you paysite owners put on a list like this. I've paid thousands for confirmed adult site members mailings in the past years but it's been a while since I've done anything with email lists. These are not trial members either. All of these members paid between $39.95 and $49.95.

A list like shouldn't be more then 500$ one again depending how much that list is still valid.

You guys are getting off topic. It's not for sale just interested your opinions. I was reading this article today about someone who tried to sell CE's members list that has like 12 million paid members. The article claimed there list was worth millions. Just got me interested in what my 100k list of paid members was worth.

I would say you could sell them at $3-$4 PER name.
Considering they are previous buyers.

However you would need to do a send to them first to filter out the bounces and deleted emails etc. Once you have a CLEAN list you could sell at that price. So long as deliverability was at 95%+

Good luck.

Ok well I sent out the list. Here are the stats for the mailing. Total emails no-dups was 91.872. There were about 15,000 bounces, im still going through them. So in the end I have about 76,000 verified valid purchasing member emails ($39.95 to $49.95). If anyone is interested in purchasing the list ICQ me.

ICQ: 28143495

Now im throwing it out there as on option if anyone is interested. Seems to be quite a few people on the board looking to purchase lists this week. Made me around $5500 from the one mailing has to be worth something to somebody somewhere =P

I wondered the same thing, but if the list is spread out over 2 years, at least 30-40% of them are dead/no longer in use..I would do a test mailing, see how it converts, then base its value on that..

You were promoting something in your test mailing?

Good stuff Tony, nice to see it worked for you.
That list you have there I would be mailing OTHER offers to as well. I would grab some other sponsors and do a send to the list with some other guys who allow mailers.

If you make several Gs per mailing for a month every day or 2... you're laughing at the extra revenue.

Yeah I sent it out for one of our own programs. I've never done a mass mailing before this except to our affiliates for our Adult Programs. I don't have the proper mailing software to do mass mailings. I used group mail and it took 4 days to send out the entire 91k lol...

Build more sites and keep the list for yourself to market it to them.
You can add my list to it for the advice.

Not if one mailing made me $5500 and the mailing just finished today. Im sure the spill over for the next few days will double that revenue.

I am not a mailer but if this list made you 5k+ why would you want to sell it. You would make a hell of a lot more selling your own programs then selling the list. I wouldn't kill the goose that laid the golden egg.

Yeah after hearing some of the ICQ's it seems that keeping the list in house and mailing for other people might be the way to go. I don't have any experience sending mail. I will have to look into it.
