MCSE is a fraud!!!!

I am currently studying for the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineers 2000 track. I am currently an MCP and passed my professional exam. I took my server exam and failed but went on some braindump sites and found out that someone posted every single question and answer word for word that was on the test. the dilema that i had was that i reviewed all the answers to the test and matched up the answers that i put down. When i did i found out that over 40 percent of the questions on the test were wrong and verified the answers with a number of MCT instructors. I was also told by those instructors that the tests were meant to make people fail because Microsoft only wants a handful of the population to be able to administer their operating system's. When people tell you that the MCSE certificate is garbage that's absolutely true, because when some people without any job experience that have a "paper mcse" go out and finally obtain a job they lose they're job so quickly because the foundation of their testing had false answers to the questions. I still care to learn to use the operating system for my own personal goals. I guess what i'm trying to say is if microsoft feels as if they're operating system is so easy to learn that they have to trick people into failing they're certification tests then should i even bother taking the tests or should i just get a job and learn from experience, or should i pass the tests to "ensure my stability with a job" and just forget all that i prepared for on those tests? Any Network Admins out there, I need to be enlightend please!!!!!

I have the certs they are useless.

The only people that have ever seen my certs is me and my wife. I have never been out of work though because it's the expierience that counts.

Certs don't hurt but seriously - anyone who thinks they are going to *learn* network administration by getting a cert - well nobody wants to hire those people because chances are in the real world they won't be able to hack it.

If you are a real computer guy, go get a job. Eat a shit paycheck for a while and learn. If you are good you willl find the money.

MCSE sucks, by the time your done with your exams,
Mircrosoft releases a new OS. i once prepared for an
MSCE 2K Server exam, but lost interest since what
counts most in the industry is years of hands-on experience
even without a sheet of certification.

I once sat thru a seminar about getting your mcse and the guy was truthful. That if you have no experience, he recommended getting a nonpaid internship somewhere to get hands on experience because if you didnt it wasnt worth much. You can see most of the people there didnt want to hear this lol.

Why are you taking MICROSOFT, I would never get a MS cert. Waste of money, cause, I would never take a job that use's and MS products for hosting or email!
