If true! my question is what about all the people invilved in PIB as policy makers, and or spokesmen, and or involved in the day to day operations.....etc.....etc...

are they as guilty? does the sum of the whole = the parts of the machine?

some of these people are looked up to, and followed by sheep, and therie word has made or broken many possible deals involving traffic, content, etc....

so is the correct answear to stay away from them totally too? or do you try to dicsern the level of involment from the person as an individual?

I would be interested to hear your thoughts.

I have always tried to place around me 3 individuals that I can trust and know that their answers are not selfish or to their best interests. In addition I make sure one of them is outside the industry to get a different perspective.

If I am to be held accountable for a decision that affects me in anyway - I will not blindly follow anyone. I am responsible for my mistakes and successes. Knowing how to accept good wisdom from others is the real trick. Behind every one successful decision is at least 1 bad mistake. Trial by fire.

I guess that depends on a lot of things. Now, take AaronM for instance.

He has his site there, he owns it and wants it to do well. At the time, he believed pibcash to be a reputable company, could do some good in bringing in those extra sales by having affiliates push it.

I mean, he still may think that, as there is no 100% concrete proof yet really.

Anyway, as site owner, and having an agreement with pibcash to promote his site, that doesn't automatically make him a shaver by association... if they are shaving.

He was just doing what was best for his own site at the time, and I don't think he could foresee this whole thing happening many months later, or a year... or how ever long it's been there.

I don't really think most people get to see the admin of a sponsor program, as it tends to be sensitive info.... ESPECIALLY if they truly are shaving. The owner would probably want as few people knowing that as possible.

So no, unless someone came forth and said that they knew about it, and condoned it.... then I wouldn't hold them accountable for their bosses bad business practices.

If said person had reason to believe that shady business was going on, if said person purposely withheld information from his/her business associates (affiliates), and if said person had incentive to keep information private (profit)... then yes, I believe said person should also be responsible. I suppose there are a few exceptions, programmers for example... though they technically profit from the operation through wages, the operation really bares no weight in their salary.
