    New to adult webmastering

    I am thinking about opening an adult website. I am a successful non-adult website webmaster and have some of the most popular sites on the net but I know nothing about the adult industry.

    I want to start simple, I will be generating a bit of my own content but do not want to rely on it.

    I am looking for basic information on two things.

    Content providers and affiliate programs.

    I know there are a lot of them out ther but can anyone point me to the main ones?

    What is the commission junction of porn? Where can I get discount content?

    I'm looking for cheap and easy, as I'm not even sure I want to invest much time and money on this.

    I'd also like comments on anything you think I should know as a skilled webmaster with no porn experience.

      The commision junction of porn is either one of the big programs (ARS) having 100+ sites or what I believe is the better way...use ccbill programs - small and big programs can be promoted and you can merge your account so you only get one check.

                                  Personally I would webmaster for a while before you open your own adult site. Adult sites can be costly to open and you need to know what the hell you are doing because it can be much more involved than you think.

                                  Sign up to some good sponsors, build a site, learn how to market it, what is working for you, learn the ropes, then consider opening up your own site.
