Mine definitely has to be real also.....I love the smell of them, and the artificial ones just look so tacky to me. I actually enjoy the whole process, with keeping water in them and teking care of them, right down the big mess of needles when it's time to take it out

Mine is fake and it kinda makes me sad. I've always held out and had a real one because they smell so good. I got divorced last year right around Christmas so it was going to be a hassle to get someone with a truck to go with me to pick out a tree, help me cut it down, load it up, haul it home, put it up, etc. I caved and bought this really pretty 9 ft. deal. It's gorgeous and much more convenient, but still kinda sad.
I did buy some real garland this weekend and I have it on my mantle and some shelves, so it at least still smells like Christmas.War National Damn Champions EagleComment

We have had a fake tree ever since my kid did a study on how many trees are being destroyed and how many houses have burned down because of real trees. She insisted so hey, I don't care.
I love the easy up and down, no needles to deal with. This is our 3rd year with a fake $ 200.00 8ft high tree, that dang thing looks better than a real one lol
