Nope. What I mean is, I've spent and made a good chunk of money on people from this board that seem like total dipshits. I wouldn't hold it against someone just because we disagreed on a subject.
I would also take everything into consideration not just one event...sometimes people have bad days.
The only ones I have any real problems with are those who try to fuck with people just for the sake of fucking with them.
And as far as personas go, we both now that there's a lot of "reputable," webmasters who hide behind other nicks to do their dirty work.
I find that more sad than the ones who are just asses out in the open with everyone knowing full well who they are.

it's all in the way you act as an asshole. if you're just flaming people for fun, it wouldn't affect my opinion of you. if you're flaming programs, or trashing people's work/reputation/companies without basis, that would steer me away from you.

it helps judge character. you cant judge someone because you dont agree on certain stuff, the only thing i would use to judge is how trustworthy they are. if i've gotten into arguments with someone but they seem trustworthy, i wouldnt hesitate to do business with them if it means that im going to benefit or make $ off of them.I host with VacaresComment
