Q re: which anti hotlink for movies?

Been perusing the boards and saw 3 different solutions for preventing hotlinking of movies:

antihotlinking.com - no real bad reviews

hotlinkprotector - some complaints of slow tech support

strongbox - more of a solution than I need.

I need a script to prevent hotlinking of movies outside a members area. Concerns are:

a. No cookies, no java. Creates problems with movie posts.

b. This may not be possible, but... any solution that will still work if users are behind anonymizers, or have 'allow referrers' turned OFF in their personal firewall? A lot of the personal firewalls (norton, et al) have referrers off by default on install. We've experienced this problem in the past, and it means they can't view ANYTHING (html, jpgs, etc) that is protected by any kind of htaccess referrer solution.

(b) isn't ABSOLUTELY necessary - since it's on a free site, if it doesn't work for them - fuck 'em! But I am curious about that.

Anyone with the solution in their sig will be ignored...

Thanks for the refs. They seem to be the consensus from what I read.

Wildcard - htaccess won't do it for me on movies.

Thanks again.
