Yes they could patch the flaw in prob 2 mins , if someone was sitting there watching it take place. You people seriously need to get a grip and start paying attention. In the previous post that i mentioned that , i was reffering to "at that point" if i released it it would shutdown gfy , thats what the point was. The techs that fix it werent online , someone would have to wake them up etc etc . by the time they got around to it gfy would be dead.

Nobody has used anything i have posted for anything bad as it gets patched. People were using the old flash banners to pilfer email address's for months before i told lensman about it. If nobody had said anything they would have continued doing it.

Talking about security is much better than hiding it.

The new flaw inlcudes the ability to manipulate accounts so i think it best to get it covered as quickly as possible and that means getting the word out. What better place than a board full of webmasters ?
