Buccaneer Bay Sea Battle - The orginal show at the Treasure Island ended in July 2003. The show included canon fire flares, treasure chests flung open, powder stores lost and a ship sunk with all hands on board when the Buccaneers faced the British Navy in an action-filled performance every night. Just for those interested... the pirates always won. This show has been cancelled and is scheduled to be replaced with a sexy sirens pirate show later in the year. The Treasure Island name has also changed to TI.

I'll be at the Venetian. If it were nice weather this time of year, I'd pick based on outdoor amenities, but January in Vegas I'd rather have a ceiling painted like a nice sky than actually be outdoors.

That's a good rate. The only thing about the Venetian is how they raise rates on us. Rosetours gets good rates for webmasters, though. But it's funny how the rate jumps to $349 per night as soon as the Adult Video show starts.

I think we are staying at the Venetian. Makes it SO much easier to find your room when you crawl upstairs from the Round Bar at 5AM.

okay, so I voted wrong because I didn't see the Aladin there at first but that is where I am going to be staying.

I've never had an issue with the Venetian, either.

I could live there.....having that entire hotel wait on me, hand and foot....

I like staying at the Venetian because it is where things are going on, but the last time we were there, the maids broke shit, spilled my woman's makeup, and the room was looking about as run down as a Hotel 6. For $200+ a night I expect perfection, not work paint, mold in the bathroom, and peeling wall paper. And that was the second room they gave us...

Right now I have reservations at the Venetian. I'm bringing my son and the fact that there's a fold out sofa and another TV was a HUGE factor in my choice because of him. :winkwink:

However, per Rose Tours they charge the first and last night the first week of Dec. If they try to charge me the $349 currently listed on the Internext website for the last night instead of the $239 on the form I sent to Rose Tours, I'm going to be highly irrate and will change hotels - possibly to TI. :mad:

You want extra nice house-keeping services? Give the chambermaids all the tee-shirts you pick up on the show floor. :thumbsup

Actually the Four Seasons offers really nice rates to regular customers, perhaps even cheaper than the Venetian :)

I've stayed at the Venetian probably a dozen times since they opened and I don't like it at all.
