but whats the average (sort of) conversion ratio for type in traffic like that?

is it like 50:1, 100:1, 300:1, 500:1.... just ballpark... im not trying to be too specific

it depends how well you can target the domain. If you manage to target it very well,it's equivalent to SE traffic. Maybe a bit better. On the other hand traffic purchases that come from many domains getting typeins fail to convert well because it's harder to target the audience.
