Yup, what a great law pushed forward by bulk e-mail lobbyists. Sure it will fuck over the dirty spammers in the US who use proxies and shit, but the big guys who do real volume are protected from being sued based on laws like that in Cali.
If they do end up going with a "do not spam" DB that this law allows for, it will be the biggest debacle in internet history. Every stammer outside of the USA will have a massive fresh source of live e-mails every fucking day. |
