Making this threat might be extortion. I find it very difficult to believe a lawyer told you ??ya go ahead and post a threat on GFY?. It would be more appropriate for your attorney to contact the sponsor directly. Maybe post a public settlement agreement?

As for the good of the industry, if you have the proof and can stand the heat, just go ahead and post whom it is and what you have for proof. Then let all here decide on how valid it is. At least that way, you?d be in civil rather than criminal court if they took action (not an attorney ? my opinion).

To try and suck $1K buck from someone here is cheap in my opinion and does your reputation no service. You we?re bought off in part by an x-box?? Don?t think I?d admit that one either.

are you sure this large sponsor doesn't count SECOND page clicks? topbucks and trafficcash do, so any hits that don't jive with what you're sending is 'cause of this.

In a nutshell what my attorney told me is that if I am making empty threats or purposely trying to damage someone's business or reputation in public I can be held liable.

If, however, I am telling the truth and I have every reason to believe I am; than there is no legal recourse for the particular sponsor except to prove me wrong.

The fact that I posted this should illustrate that I have every reason to beleive I'm telling the truth and that the sponsor has no way of proving me wrong.
