Personal Opinion, they will be the next processor to cease existance. Some ppl love them, but I have yet to see them answer questions ppl have about their possible violation of Visa rules.

Man they are stupid and a pain in the ass.

I was trying to sign up under an aff. account that used them and their site inside was so damm messy and a link was not working. So I called the help number and the guy did not even KNOW what an affilate program was! Granted he was the middle-of-the-night-guy, but still..

I stopped promoting the site that uses them because they are that stupid - and it was just not worth it.

PLUS look at how many people here ask for ccbill programs compared to nobody asking for probilling programs......

go with ccbill

I've stopped sending traffic to sites that use probilling too. Their affiliate front end is lame, and their support is retarted. The only way you get paid is when the merchant gets around to OK'ing your sales and then you have to request a check. I have money that's been sitting in there since July. I know I can email the merchant, but I just want to see how long they go before paying me.

Also, every URL you send traffic from has to be approved by their slow-ass support department or you don't get credit for those sales. If I sent them all 200 sites it would be months before I could send more traffic...

Yeah... they pretty much blow.

Use Netbilling as a primary and backup with CCbill.

Payton I don't know what planet you are living on. For the interested webmaster querying about Probilling, do a search on this board and you will soon get your answer. They are evasive about the VISA fees, countless webmasters on here have had their accounts terminated for bullshit reasons and without notice, most webmasters are unimpressed with their sloth-like service dept, mainly because they seem to only have 2 or 3 employees.......

plus they imposed new regulations that remind people of the smell of globilling, and that fiasco.

To the learned eye, they look like they are probably on their way out in 2004.

Here take a look at this thread to see about Probilling's latest panic.

Some guy on that thread made a mistake of thinking Netbilling and Probilling were affiliated somehow. LOL.

And Netbilling was very very quick to deny this association, which in fact does not exist. There is no association.

But that should tell you a lot about Probilling, when others run from even the sniff of being associated with them.

They don't pass the smell test here.

Until I see a single no or slow pay complaint about Probilling, I stand by my recommendation. I have had nothing but positive experiences with them and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for processing

As far as Netbill (or whatever they call themselves) my understanding is that they aren't even capable of doing 3rd party processing on their own, so I fail to see the issue

And as far as YOU go, "me thinks thou do protesteth too much"
Take a sec and look it up, if you know how

Hey payton, you'd think you'd at least get their name right. Its NETBILLING, not Netbill. And no they don't do 3rd party processing...........you get your own merchant acct. through them.

What are you insinuating about them, saying they "aren't even capable of doing 3rd party processing on their own."

You are willing to knock a company with a solid reputation on here, Netbilling, and sing the praises of a company that looks to be very shaky, at best, namely Probilling. Its not just me saying these things, its countless others. You are entitled to your opinion, but it makes me wonder.......are you, a Probilling shill?

Nope, but I suggest anyone who is interested in the reputation of these companies we have mentioned to simply do a search.

Within a minute, they will have their answer. The proof isn't in what just two people have to say about this, but rather the over-all consensus of Probilling and Netbilling.

Probilling gets a big thumbs down in the over-all.

And you know it.

Still protesting, huh?

Guess you couldn't figure out how to look up my reference above

I stand by my hearty recommendation for Probilling and my "insinuation" that Netbill does not do third party processing

Have a nice day

Erm. Not even capable? Are you dim? They offer a different service. That's like saying KFC are shit because they're not even capable of producing a big mac.

Idiot.

Duh Payton, I KNOW they don't do 3rd party processing. I never said they did. As I stated, if you can't read, they help you open your OWN merchant account.

I said this further up in this thread, and I quote:

"Hey payton, you'd think you'd at least get their name right. Its NETBILLING, not Netbill. And no they don't do 3rd party processing...........you get your own merchant acct. through them."

What makes you think I ever said they were a 3rd party processor?

Colin! So this is the handle you go under now eh?
"Until I see a single no or slow pay..."...unless you are truly a nerd that walked out of the woodwork..there have been PLENTY posted on this board, and probably many more that no one has even heard of.

But, pretending you're a "user" of Probilling is really whoring it now!

I know Centurion.............I was deciding if this guy was either:

1) a Probilling employee or a shill , considering the laughable arguments he was making

or

2) one of Dr. Satan's operated on patients from "House of 1,000 Corpses"

You are obviously clueless. Netbilling is probably the most stable processor out there because they do not do any thrid party processing. It is not because tey can't, it is because they do not want to.

This is one of the main reasons why we started using them. Nobody does it better than Netbilling IMO.
