Las Vegas residents

Is it just my carpet or does anyone else get shocked when touching metal at least like 10x a day?

It's because it's been so dry lately.

Dry? that causes it?

Mostly happens here in the south when it's chilly.

it's due to all the electronics in newer vehicles, generally. that's why women set themselves on fire at gas stations

Yup all my buddies from Hawaii freak out when they move or visit Vegas since Hawaii is like 112% humidity and Vegas is prolly 12%

Apparently in the dry air you build up a lot more static electricity in your body.

Be careful pumping gas too
