I don't make galleries. I have no artistic or creative abilities at all. I am a coder. I pay a designer about $30 per gallery that I get built. I am happy with his work and wouldn't consider using anyone else. I could care less what people charge. What I get upset about is people expecting a free ride. If people HAD to invest some money to get into this business there would be infinitely fewer newbies and therefore more traffic and money to go around. It's nothing personal against this guy. I didn't see those URLs before I made my last post. Those look fucking great. They are better than most galleries I see other "professionals" make. You could charge twice as much and still have a ton of work.I like pie.Comment

In order for things to get better they have to get worse, and to me, things seem to start getting a bit better. For example, Easypic's $100 a year deal to submit galleries, bigger TGPs will follow that idea, I believe shemp is considering it eventually, that will weed out people...but give these newbies a break, let them make their $35 one signup a month bullshit, so they can just move on...There is still plenty to go around...Comment
