Burglar photocopies bottom for calling cards

A burglar has left photocopies of his or her bottom at an office after a raid on an Australian office.

Detectives in Darwin say they are yet to identify the thief's gender, but believe the offender left the prints as a calling card.

The images have been seized by police for forensic testing.

Senior Sergeant Scott Pollock said it is not the first time officers had dealt with a break-in where the offenders had left photocopied "calling cards".

But he said this was the first time in "many years".

"We've had people photocopying their faces - I don't know what it is about these photocopiers," Sen-Sgt Pollock said.

The thief cleaned out the office stationery cupboard and had gone through every desk taking small change, personal items and some alcohol, reports News.com.au.
