That isn't as bad as my flood!

I went on on a 7 day cruise over the summer. On the way back, I get a phone call from my neighbors saying that my house flooded 3 days ago. Well to make a long story short, my neighbors were very kind and pumped most of the water out while I was on vacation. The water came from a faulty part on the back of the upstairs toliet. So the 1st floor and basement were completly destroyed.

Well, I know have a completly new house thanks to insurance

. Lost alot of stuff though, such as my computers,tvs,furniture.

This is a french drain (Url Below), we piped the water away with the corrugated/sleeved pipe (url below). We rented a ditch witch, bought crazy amounts of drain rocks, and laid about 200' of pipe 24" underground. The water then drained happily into the forest and away from our home. It was a bit more complicated than that, but easily done in a weekend with 3 people.
