It?s a pathetic industry that has thieving scumbags in it. Worse yet,
thieving scumbags who prey on honest webmasters, stealing years of hard
work away from them.

Take this example: TGSWUpdates.com was started by an honest webmaster,
who ran it for several years. Following the Globill disaster, he
decided to sell it to his friend Scully, who had helped him with the site
since its inception. She was delighted--but not sure whether she could
afford his price or run his scripts properly. So she asked another
webmaster, a recent acquaintance called Digger who had become her friend, if
he would go into 50/50 partnership with her.

Because the two original webmasters trusted each other, they saw no
need to draw up formal contracts. So the three struck a "gentleman?s
agreement" via e-mails and ICQs.

Scully and Digger began work on their new site. They spent weeks
redesigning it, improving it in dozens of different ways. And sales began to
come in immediately. The future looked rosy.

Then things fell apart. Scully discovered that Digger had registered
the site domain in his own company name, rather than jointly as legally
he should have done. When she confronted him, he refused to change the
dns registration. He threatened to cut her out of the site entirely. He
slandered her to other prominent webmasters in writing and on the
phone. He flatly refused the advice of other webmasters who wanted to help
resolve the problem.

Immediately after a visit from his attorney buddy from Sydney, he moved
the site to another server of his own choosing. Even though Scully had
the next batch of updates ready to upload, he refused to allow it, and
found another person to take over her work. He has since refused to
communicate with Scully in any way. She no longer has access to the
server, or to the database she helped create and maintain.

Digger openly brags that, before his ex-wives stripped him of
everything in divorce court, forcing him to live and work on a remote sheep farm
in Perth, Australia, he was a top-notch corporate troubleshooter and
acquisitions expert. In short, stripping away all the fancy bullshit--he
made a living by stealing failing companies from their rightful owners,
and revitalizing them. He?s proud of being a slimy back-stabbing thief.
And he?s desperate to escape from the sheep farm and return to
civilization; i.e. Sydney. He?s said before, in writing, that he?ll do anything
to get back on his feet!

It?s plain to see what "anything" means to Frank Williams, aka Digger.
Every move he has taken since the day he and Scully bought
TGSWUpdates.com appears to have been aimed toward one thing--STEALING IT!! That's
right--stealing it, the moment it began to make money, from an honest
webmaster who?s put her heart and soul into it (not to mention spent
numerous hours every single day to turn it around and make it a winning
site). Digger may have done the initial work, setting up the billing and
scripts--but that does not give him sole ownership rights to the
website. It?s Scully who kept the site running on schedule, providing timely
accurate updates every single week--until it was stolen from her.

Digger thinks that since he lives on the other side of the world, no
one can touch him. He thinks that his artistry for spouting bullshit will
keep people buying into TGSWUpdates.com, just like they did while he
was still working in the corporate world. He truly believes that if he
can slander his partner badly enough, to enough major webmasters, no one
will notice that he's really a treacherous, lying thief.

Digger is delusional.

Everyone gets enraged when little kids are taken advantage of. Should
we do any less for our fellow webmasters--the decent hard-working people
who make up our tight-knit community? Today it?s Scully. Tomorrow it
might be you. If you don?t stand for her, for what?s right, and keep the
thieves at bay...who will help you when you need help?

I urge you to stand up for what?s right! Digger, and every other
dishonest webmaster like him, must be stopped...before their illegal actions
destroy all of us!
