    Has the Online Porn Industry declined??

    Im an "Online Performer" on a classy website; Now , its been 2 years since I was last on it (had "real" life things to take care of). But 2 years ago, I would make $100+ an HOUR!!!! Then, my first "Welcome Back" show, I made $9 in 2 hours!!!!!!! :O Has Online Porn plumited since my last knowledge???

    HOWEVER, thanks to Thanksgiving, I made the usual $100+ an hour the night before thanksgiving but other performs are whining about the decline of customers as well......

    Can someone update me on the Online Porn Industry?? Getting better? Worse? The same?

          Yes, it has changed quite a bit. Waaay more competition combined with all the free porn available make it harder than ever. You are going to have to find ways to get 10 times more traffic to your site to make the money you made before. It's possible. Good luck with your cam.

              Also, I have one (yes, ONE lol) softcore site and in the past year, it has gained just over a $1 LMAO Then again, I havent made any new gallerys in like 2 or more years for it or plugged it to any sites for traffic.

              I found alot of free porn on Kazza too. I heard thats what people are doin now-a-days for a "quick fix" . Wonder where the porn industry will be in the next few years......*sigh*

                  Since you're a cam provider, it may make more sense to partner with a large cam network like streamray or other progs out there.

                          well the webmasters (a male and female) of the cam site said that they DO promote the site but want to keep it "The Classiest Cam Site" on the net so they limit their promoting.

                          Some girls say the price is too high (Min. is charging $2.99 a min.), but others say it keeps the classy & rich guys coming and at the same time, FILTERS OUT the cheap-skates. I agree to an extent.

                          The webmasters actaully say that their bringing in MORE traffic than ever.........us performers tend to disagree.......our wallets say differently!

                                      traffic is worth less but there is more of it.... only middle/upper class people had the internet years ago, but as time progressed it became cheaper and more widly available, hence less buyers and more leechers. the proliferation of free porn/TGPs hasnt helped matters.

                                              Very true. Its all about adaptation. But it also helps to experiment while being partnered with a source of steady work...then branch out.
