Question about your education system... are all of your students that exceptional? Or just a select few that may have been given extra opportunities? Also, do all children receive education and is it all of the same quality? |

Theres more than one car maker in the usa. And you still have alot to learn about making trucks. Quote:
We arent comparing czech's with americans or we would have alot more sections to cover. ( i.e. infant mortality , life expectancy , poverty rate, etc etc ) Your original points were made about americans , not comparing americans to any certain country. The reason your "boys and girls" do well here is because we only see the ones that you can afford to send over here. If you sent over "average czechs" there prob wouldnt be much difference. |

I didn't say I hate you (or US at all) or anything like this.I just told you the truth. Also this is another proof of your Big US ego - so you change your oppinion on biz with me just beacuse I am telling you that US cars sucks or something about education? What would you like me to do?Screaming "thank you US" all the time - no way man , wake up man -US is no perfect country - has lot of problems and shitty things (like each country in the world) |

And sure of course not all of the kids are smart or educated well but I Am talking generaly. The ordinary 12 y-o boy knows the capitol of Ivory Coast because they have to study about this too.I think the most of US people have no idea what the Ivory Coast is -even they should know the capitol.Just trying to explain - its hard for me because of my english |

No ego involved here , i dont do biz with morons who post garbage in a thread for american values. If this thread was named "who is better czech's or americans" that would be different , but it was a HOLIDAY THREAD to state american values not a " another thread to bash americans " Wake up "czechie" i never claimed america was perfect ( do they teach you to read over there? ", i only pointed out your obvious typical flawed thinking. " blame america for everything because we have nothing " |
Unfortunately most US citizens have never visttied anyplace outside of the US. They are taught in sound bytes what the rest of the world is like an have no idea.
My eyes opened on numerous trips out of the country and my realization that the USA is NOT the best place in the world to live, the USA is NOT the most free country in the world. The USA is the blind bully smacking anyone who dares to disagree with it's policies. Unfortunately at least half of the voters of the USA are blind, ignorant and programed to believe the copious lies of our government. The typical US voter believes King George is a good president and even the occasional GFY poster believes the same. The picture is tragic for the entire world. |

But there's one thing you must try to understand, it's not that we're all stupid, it's that we have a completely different mentality. Trivial facts like the capital of the Ivory Coast mean absolutely nothing to me. And you're right, I don't know it, though I did learn about it 10 years ago. I find no real purpose in remembering something that I'll never need to know. And if I did need to know it, the answer is only 2 clicks away. |

I agree with almost everything he says. *suprised* you shouldnt be. |

And yes you are right about sending just a few and probably the best boys and girls to US but the average is not the same - believe me I know what I am talking about I tried to explain in last post.Thats because our standarts are higher in our education system. Btw - I posted some good things about US too :glugglug and never said I dislike you.Its always the same - good people there and also bad people there , smart people there and stupid people there |

1. The popular vote was for Gore, not Bush. 2. Copied from a news article just last week: "Bush's overall job approval was at 50% in the CNN-USA Today-Gallup poll, with 47% disapproving of his job performance." For a comparison: Clinton *during the bullshit impeachment proceedings* had an approval rating of 89%. Most presidents are usually at 65-75%. Not only is Bush's rating low compared to almost anyone before him, for a president during a "war time" his is the lowest of any American president ever! Just my :2 cents: |

Then when i point out your mistakes, you start comparing czech's to americans . Then when i point out thats not a very good idea as czechs are far behind the world in many other areas, you start backtracking again and say your not comparing the 2. Your right your standards are higher in some areas of education , in america we believe that everyone should have EQUAL opportunity to learn , not by weeding out the general populace to boost the privileged few. |

You seriously have much to learn about doing business with Americans. Most people in the former "Eastern Bloc" do. Trust me... I've lived in both the Czech Republic and Poland and I've seen all of it a million times. |

A snipit from a speech by the man who should be president given on 9 November. "But President Bush has stretched this new practical imperative beyond what is healthy for our democracy. Indeed, one of the ways he has tried to maximize his power within the American system has been by constantly emphasizing his role as Commander-in-Chief, far more than any previous President ? assuming it as often and as visibly as he can, and bringing it into the domestic arena and conflating it with his other roles: as head of government and head of state ? and especially with his political role as head of the Republican Party. Indeed, the most worrisome new factor, in my view, is the aggressive ideological approach of the current administration, which seems determined to use fear as a political tool to consolidate its power and to escape any accountability for its use. Just as unilateralism and dominance are the guiding principles of their disastrous approach to international relations, they are also the guiding impulses of the administration?s approach to domestic politics. They are impatient with any constraints on the exercise of power overseas ? whether from our allies, the UN, or international law. And in the same way, they are impatient with any obstacles to their use of power at home ? whether from Congress, the Courts, the press, or the rule of law. Ashhahahahaha has also authorized FBI agents to attend church meetings, rallies, political meetings and any other citizen activity open to the public simply on the agents? own initiative, reversing a decades old policy that required justification to supervisors that such infiltrations has a provable connection to a legitimate investigation;" Full text and at http://www.moveon.org/gore/speech2.html |

If everyone who didnt vote in the last election voted in the next election they would vote in whomever they want. Lets stop this usa hate thread. This is an american values thread for thanksgiving. Open up a thread "bush is the devil" or "10 reasons i hate americans" |
I love that people are still whining about 'Bore' 4 years later.
If it weren't so sad, it would be downright comical. |
