We have Bush invading Iraq. Yes, it's an invasion. Don't argue with me. He waltzs in and kills people at will and takes over the country to divide up amongst his budies.
But then, he leaves his people there to be bombed and shot and killed... HE'S KILLING HIS OWN PEOPLE. Infact, he's killing so many other people's people just by letting this happen, for making it happen in the first place. Do they have to stay? Sure, why? Because Bush put them in that predicament. It didn't have to happen.

Now, this is kinda simplistic, but it's a reality... there is a comparison to be made there between Saddam and Bush.

You don't sink to that person's low just to defeat him.

The US citizens cried out for Saddam's blood when the purpose was supposed to be to take him out of power.

You wanted his blood... you wanted his son's blood. You wished death on people you don't even know.

So does this make you better or worse than LadyM for her comments?

Approximately half of the American people voted the President into office. The actions of the President since he has been in office have all been upheld by the Congress and thus far by the courts. It is the Congress that voted the President the power to do with our military "what he deems to be appropriate"...at the time 70% of the American people upheld their decision. It is the Congress that gives a thumbs up or a thumbs down on every legislative proposal that the Presdident comes up with. The President at this point in time has a general approval rating of approximately 50% of the people.

I suppose that to be fair you can be considered only 50% anti-America...as the President and his policies are overall generally supported by approximately 50% of the American people. But the percentage is higher on some of his policies and maybe lower on a few other policies.
