I am very sensitive when it comes to adictions even if it is just booze or weed. My 20 year old brother is in rehab right now because it started with weed then that became not good enough anymore after smoking so much and then he turned into crack/cocaine, X, acid, and then finally heroin. He has been clean for 10 weeks but now might have a possible tumor on his brain and is only 20. So even though i know people who aren't addicted to weed doesnt mean everyone wont be. I don't care if you have a medical problem and need it then fine whatever but it does leed to other things. ok enough said

I don't like weed. And before you ask yes i tried it no i didnt like it it left a bad aftertaste in my mouth adn i didnt like the way it made me feel. I do however like to have a drink once in a while but not to the point i am drunk off my ass.

And yes you are correct that weed is a step lader to every other hard drug. alcohol is kinda of the same in that respect.
but then thats just up to the weakness of the individual

Yea well it's like that with everything . There is a lot of alchoolic people too and that's fucked up . You just gotta moderate yourself . I drank my ass off for a year (I have free beer in every club that i go in and I can party every night if i want) and stoped . I realised I was going too far when I felt off on the dance floor . happened to me 2 times b4 I realised I had to stop drinking . Now I drink couple beers once in a while but never get drunk drunk (I could drink up to a 40oz... reallllly fucked up)

maybe not to some but my brother would disagree with you on that now that he is clean. He would say that when he was stoned oh i am not addicted but he needed it all the time same thing he needed it so there for he was adicted. Now that he is clean he will admit he was addicted to everything he did including weed. Adictions run in our family so it is easy to get adicted to anything including chocolate which my mother is addicted to heheheh

Thats because your brother is weak.

then he had to buy into the shit at the clinic to get built up enough not to do it. He needs to believe that he was addicted so he doesnt have to live up with the fact that he was weak and broke down to the other. Its easier to blame the evil on the weed when it was his decisions that made him smoke the crack not his addiction to marijuania.

If anything blame his friends for hooking him up or even so, blame him for making the damn choice of going with something harder. I really hate when people say "weed is a gateway drug for harder drugs". It's bullshit. Addicts friend's are their gateway, your dealers are your gateways, not the fucking weed!

ppl like your brother have issues. its not the drugs thats to blame. most of these ppl feel a void within themselves and try to fill it with something, for some ppl its drugs, for others alcohol for some food or sex.
