I read that thing about traffic generation..thats the same bs people said since day 1 and its crap..

Only thing i missed out on was talking to billing company's..Visa is really all that matters to me anymore..

coming to the convention I had wished we got a room at the double tree so we could have been more a part of events and after parties before Kayla told me about pot plants being uprooted and bottles being thrown from the top floors.
The first chance I had to meet lensman was right after someone tripped the firealarm and his first words were asking if I had done it.. fucking lovely. I left shortly after and there were police in the foyer.

Anyways.. I don't see any problem with people getting nicely toasted on their drug of choice but when it affects property and other people.. not to mention hotel staff and patrons.. well..

You're right Aaron... kids, drugs and drunks belong in a business situation about like a gun would. They are all volatile situations just waiting to happen.

That it 'happens at all kinds of conventions, even non adult' is irrelevant. Our industry is under far more scrutiny than others, and this just gives them ammunition. I'm waiting for the day some news program brings a hidden cam to a convention and these fucktards find themselves on 60 minutes. Except it won't be about just the fucktards. The fucktards will become ambassadors for all of us. Won't that be a chuckle?

BTW - this is not 'same old same old'. Conventions were NOT always this way. It's gotten progressively worse. I remember one year having a nice quiet time in the National Net suite, and the next year, someone taking a shit in the suite's bidet and causing 1000's of dollars of damage in other ways.

If you want to drink, get fucked up and see pussy, don't come to a convention. Go to a strip bar and leave the rest of us to business. You'll save yourself some money on the flight and hotel costs, and save the rest of us from both pitying and despising you.
