There are a couple. I've seen em in videos...I just can't remember their names ;)
They really aren't that good compared to the men - the best is probably on the level of a sub-par amateur skater, but I still give them props for being in a sport dominated by men.Comment

there are a couple women who skateboard near my house - well, one's in silverlake when i see her. also a band i used to belong to auditioned this drummer - she had just gotten out of a body cast after a skateboarding accident and was skating again.
up till recently you never saw many women guitarists, either.Got Gay and For Women Traffic?

i see 'em in movies and at shows but not many in real life. in hollywood, there are tons of guys 14 - 22 skateboarding, and i've seen max 3 chicks.
in other parts of town like venice or west l.a. i've never seen any.
my eyes are open for 'em - i'm always stoked to see a woman do something kewl and atypical.Got Gay and For Women Traffic?

The thing about most girl "skaters", is that alot of them are wannabes...that just tag along to be part of the culture and get the 'hot skater guys' cause thats like...the IN thing nowadays.
