it's not so little... it's major problem is it's weight it's around 100lbs far too heavy for the adverage troop to carry around. has some nice toys on it though... has a target locking system that will lock in on a target and once the ammo gets to that location it's explodes.. allowing the user to hit someone around a cornor or in a trench and so on... it allso has a camera and LCD which alllows the user to point the gun around a cornor and see what's there not exposing himself.

that technology has been in use since the early 90;s, but i believe the article i read had a scope with all that technology mounted on an m16 or like modelled rifle, and the feedback came back to a monitor like device inside the soldiers helmet. kind of like what pilots see.
