I have an uncle who married a black woman. They currently reside in Gulfport, Mississippi. Talk about Southern Heritage and pride.

They have their problems. But after being married for 20 some years, they're still there. People got used to it.

Never once did my grandmother call their children ******s. Never once did she ever evince anything but love for her grandchildren.

Oh yeah, Thats the way "they" talk.. I beleive they call it "jive"

For example, When you would normally say.
"I had a good dinner last night"

They would say: "Yo dat joint we ate last night was off da hook"

It takes some time, but after a while, you can pretty much understand most of it.
