Jonathan Brandis dead at 27

I did a search and didn't see anyone post this. Jonathan Gregory Brandis is dead at 27. I had a real crush on him when I was a teenager. He was in SeaQuest DSV, The Neverending Story 2 and alot more. RIP

LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Jonathan Brandis, who from an early age appeared in a string of roles on television, commercials and film, including the starring role in 1991's "The Neverending Story 2: The Next Chapter" and two seasons on Steven Spielberg's "SeaQuest DSV," has died. He was 27.

The county coroner's office is investigating the November 12 death, which was reported by the Los Angeles Police Department as a possible suicide, Lt. Ed Winter of the coroner's Investigations Bureau said Thursday.

I LOVED that movie. And Sidekicks? Oh, he was so good in that movie. God, I think I spent like $300 on magazines that had his picture in them. I put like half of my Taco Bell paycheck every week to magazines with him in it. I wish I still had them all

I'm 27

I named my first son after Jonathan Brandis, if that tells you how much of a fan I was. *sigh*

Jonathan Brandis was born April 13, 1976 and I was born February 6, 1976. When I was a teenager I actually thought I might have a chance to date him someday. How sad was I? LOL

okay it does start to get scary when the people you had on your wall as a teenager die...especially when they are the same age as you.

*hugs* tootie...childhood crushes are rooted deep, at the time there were such centers of our universe it is impossible not to feel something when they pass.

Survived by his parents. He was the only child. No parent should out live the children.... They must be taking this very hard!

RIP

After seeing the photos I remember him. Hollywood is experiencing a lot of losses this year.

Yes, that's the one. I LOVED the scene in Sidekicks where Jonathan Brandis was using the nunchuku. I watched that movie a bunch, and I watched that one scene about 10 times as often. Hehe.
