you play it in surround sound. Last night we plugged in the X-Box to my new surround sound system. Fucking insane. Now we're going through all our old games and playing them again to see what it's like having explosions coming from behind you.

Pop in a shooter game and you'll shit your pants every time you pull the trigger to rip a chain of bullets into the nearest Nazi. Holy hell it's great!

Explosions from the rocket launchers on Wolfenstein are insane. I think I'm in love.

I bought the system Monday night and now I'm a complete surround sound addict. Help!

I used to shit my pants while playing Wolfenstein on my 286 with sound coming from my PC speaker.

I hated walking down a hall with no encounters a long time and then a Nazi pops out of nowhere. Scared the shit out of me everytime.

I hear you there man.. But nothing took the cake for scary like Doom.. Man that shit would freak me out.. The first time you encounter those big pyro guys that light you on fire was one of the scariest moments in a videogame..
the boys at ID sure do know how to scare the crap out of you.. Doom3 is definitely no exception.. I wish someone would leak another copy out.

Damn straight. I felt like a 4 year old watching Freddy the first time I played Doom in the middle of the night. Nothing nothing nothing, rawwwwrrrrrrrrr.

Awesome when your playing fps's and can hear the people coming up from behind you. you can actualy feel it when shoot your gun

I imagine surround would add a whole new dimension to Max Payne as well. There are a lot of "out of nowhere" loud action moments in that game..... I'd have to put waterproof anti-shitstain covers on my couch.

My theater is wired with awesome surround sound. Games played on a 100 inch screen with the surround sound cranked up really kick ass. Only problem is, the screen is so large that some games make me dizzy if I play them too long.
