Man Arrested Over 'Spam Rage'

Call it spam rage -- a Silicon Valley computer programmer has been arrested for threatening to torture and kill employees of the company he blames for bombarding his computer with Web ads promising to enlarge his penis.

In one of the first prosecutions of its kind in the state that made "road rage" famous, Charles Booker, 44, was arrested on Thursday and released on a $75,000 bond for making repeated threats to staff of an unnamed Canadian company between May and July, the U.S. Attorney's office for Northern California said on Friday.

Booker said the problem stemmed from a program he mistakenly downloaded from the Internet that brought a continuous stream of advertising to his computer.

Booker identified the object of his rage as Albion Medical, which claims to produce the "Only Reliable, Medically Approved Penis Enhancement."

Anyone that is that bothered by spam scares me. What do they do when they are pissed off at there wife or kids. I can only imagine.

Don't take this as defending this guys actions but maybe trying to gain some insight.

Anyway, the guy probably rarely gets angry in the real world. He's probably one of those types that bottle it all in. He probably gets shit on by his boss, friends, and maybe even the wife and kids, so what does he do? Takes it out on someone in the virtual world...someone who can't actually stand up to him and back his ass back down when he got loud because they are seperated by distance and a monitor.

Kinda like a lot of people on this board ;)
