I love DJ Tiesto!

I just saw some music videos of this guy
you look at the guy and youre like... WOW, this guy truly loves what he does and the music he plays...

not only that his music is just incredible

for any wondering what music videos Im talking about, get

(dj_tiesto)-lethal_industry_(svcd)__apple-mv.mpg
and
dj tiesto-traffic.mpg

and for those wondering what songs of his truly rock, my personal faves are:

Dj Tiesto - Airwave (Rank 1 Remix).mp3
dj tiesto - lethal industry.mp3
dj tiesto - suburban train.mp3

LONG LIVE TIESTO!!!

well he is the #1 DJ in the world in the annual DJ magazine rankings for the 2nd year in a row.

if you like his original songs he's got a bunch of mix CDs which you'd probably like as well....

i stopped listening to tiesto and other 'happy' trance when my 5 year old daughter told me she liked it and asked to borrow it... i let her keep it, and gave her a few more cds.

his set sucked. i think he was going for a 'new sound'. and i wasnt into it. it was still your basic trance. it just wasnt like all his cds... at all.

kinda funny, oakenfold spun right after him and i walked out on him too... went and watch the foo fiighters. this was right after he released the cd "Bunka" which was bunk.

The guy is from my homeplace, Breda in Holland...

But I never understood what is so exciting in seeing a boy standing in front of a bunch of people with his hands in the air and let the tapes do the work...
Some people have to stay in the studio
Maybe I'm old-fashioned but for me music has something to do with instruments...

its not tapes its records. and the instruments are the turntables... the art is to mix 10-15 records seamlessly while at the same time each record builds to the next taking you on a "journey". unless its a live set which tiesto does do sometimes. then they make the songs live in front of you with grooveboxes and synthasizers..

And this would be songs already made by other people who really can play instruments...?

Synthesizers=
Jean Michel Jarre
Keith Emerson
Rick Wakeman
Rick van de Linden
Ton Scherpenzeel
Klaus Voorman
Kraftwerk
Klaus Schulze
Vangelis

not Thijs Verwest...

publicly abused. I am more into Tribal House Vocals now..
