In fact, anything he says ever again, I'm skipping over. Five words of stupidity that says volumes. Next.

While it's ironic that the issue of caring for surfer was raised by a guy who makes a living out of abusing and humiliating women, I do think that this is an important issue. And much as Dirty_DS sickens me, I am even more sickened by the large number of webmasters who think that because they're in porn it's somehow acceptable to con their customers. In my opinion, there's nothing wrong with porn provided that it's consensual, non violent (Dirty_DS certainly tests these limits) and all of the participants and consumers are adults. But I (and the law) believe that there's plenty wrong with raping the customer and I suspect that ultimately many webmasters will end-up in jail and it may not be on the charges that they expect. :2 cents:

That's what I was thinking. First off, Hooper and Wiseman are great and we are sending a ton of joins to them. But this is an example of when to send to rev share and when not. Fortunately, they aren't asking to share revenue on this deal.

And as far as caring for the surfer is concerned. Keep in mind that they can uncheck cross sell boxes and cancel before rebilling to a full membership. Buyer beware is an old saying for a reason. It is the shoppers responsibility to make sure they get a good deal on a high-qualtiy site.

I sugest you guys quit bitch'in about Quick Bucks and try to launch an exlusive content yourselfs that consumers care about. But wait, you'll need at least 50 episodes to do it right off the bat. You gonna spend 150 large?

Fifty Episodes?!?!?! Man come on...These sites are launching with 15 episodes maximum these days...I even talked to someone in Florida who said a LARGE programs site was being launched with like 15 episodes and it will NEVER be updated...They'll just crosssell them and give them access to the programs shitload of their other sites...

I'd like to really see a site launch with 50 exclusive episodes...

That's the real point is it not. Many people in the industry have heard this rant from me, "If the railroad companies knew that they were in the transportation business and not the real estate business, we'd all be flying Union Pacific Airways."

The bottom line is that some companies excel at being processing companies and some as entertainment companies. Quick Buck is one of the few trying to do both.

If you want to get paid per join on an exclusive content site, you have to deal with the fact that entertaining is only half of what they are concetrating on.

Read my post above. To do it right you launch with 50 episodes. Traffic comes from links or content. It takes a webmaster about the same time to build 50 galleries as it does to build 15. If you want serious joins and you want to retain you better be able to ante up and launch with 50 episodes. The flip side is a hybrid processing/entertainment company. :2 cents:

not really orginal after all Taxi cab confessions on HBO is a pretty big hit... I'm sure that's where the idea came from to do the porn site on.. Still a nice idea, after seeing it, Im kinda suprised no one has done it yet... so I say GJ to them for being the 1st... I can't say how the inside is, as I havn't joined. But looks good on the outside to me.. I think it will sell well.

RICK - Very well put! His post sums it up. If you move traffic to PPS you care about joins; which btw are great with Quickbuck. If you are Quickbuck you care about various items. However, I know that Wiseman put a lot of effort into those productions and you are really slamming him by saying things so vocally. Some have said that no one was threatened, the very title of this thread is an attack on a people and a program that just spent a ton on advertising. But then again, this is some great advertising in itself so you might have done them a favor, unless of course this is one of Hoopers creative marketing ploys.

Ok enough conspiracy theory. My .02. Hooper, Wiseman and QB do very well for a lot of people. To the Anti-QB Go Fuck Yourself!

Dirty Dog Shit didnt just talk about our site, he made like 8 posts one after another bashing the quality of our sites, the handling of models, the way that we filmed.

You go spend 40k doing a production, spend 2 weeks of your life doing it, spend 6 months waiting to launch it... then you tell me that it's not personal when somebody bashes your sites.

If he really *cared* about the surfer he might have come to us and discussed any technical issues he had with the site. Instead he thought it would be *professional* to come to a public board and lambast our work? You reap what you sew Dirty Dip Shit.

Fuck you too... who's next?

Hooper has Spoken :thumbsup Hey hope to have a drink with ya this weekend.

Woohoo! Old Boy code which no doubt again rips me for my noobiness.. :thumbsup Thanks man.

wtf is up with this attitude?

Everyone in this biz seems so determined to squeeze it as tight as they can and build a fucking wall around it... do you honestly not believe that this industry needs noobs? Do you honestly not think that for every 99 noobs there will be at least one who brings something new and fresh that previously didn't exist? And do you also not believe that competition is healthy?

Dude, I don't 'do' net beef, I'm too fuckin' busy trying to make what I've chosen to start work, therefore feel free to take the final word in this...

But this old boys network attitude just sucks cock..

Being a noob in porn doesn't always imply being asshole whose opinion should simply be disregarded

Not sure about others but Pornkings has always worked with Newb's. I personally like helping people succeed and I've helped many porgrams out that are huge today.
thats not what the problem is. it's when newb's think they understand the business better then the so called (Old boys network).
