A new scam or virus attack ?

Here is the copy of a e-mail I just got.
Outlook blocked access to the following potentially unsafe attachments: www.paypal.com.pif

Here is the Body of the e-mail:

Dear PayPal member,

We regret to inform you that your account is about to be expired in next five business days. To avoid suspension of your account you have to reactivate it by providing us with your personal information.

To update your personal profile and continue using PayPal services you have to run the attached application to this email. Just run it and follow the instructions.

IMPORTANT! If you ignore this alert, your account will be suspended in next five business days and you will not be able to use PayPal anymore.

Thank you for using PayPal.

i still have to receive a copy of that. so far none. i guess NAV2003 has detected the email as a virus and automatically deleted it.

Old news, been getting those for about a month now, I use AVG antivirus (www.grisoft.com) and it blocks all the viruses just fine).

The latest one going around I just got today says its from microsoft (ms.com) and it looks like this:

The attached file Q455471.exe is infected by I-Worm/Swen.A. The attachment was removed from the mail.
