      I Don't like buying DVDs of things I haven't seen but I might just have to take a chance on this one.

      Seen Central Station? Also out of Brazil, I think it won the forgien language Oscare a few years ago. I saw it the other week for the first time - wow!

              I'm in Thamesmead..night busses are a bitch. Plus hubby might wonder why I am sneaking out in the middle of the night.

                  I saw City of God in the theatres and I don't know what the fuss is about. If it wasn't from brazil it would be just another b-grade gangster flic.

                      I saw City of God a few months ago and loved it. Definitely worth at least a rent.

                          I saw city of god in theaters twice,

                          and Ill buy it come december when its released,

                          its the best gangster movie since scarface,

                          its real, its authentic, its unique,

                          its multi generational,

                          its fucking groovy too man, rio de janeiro, in the 60s and 70s man,

                          awesome fucking movie,

                          best of the year up there with lord of the rings, kill bill, and x men 2, and the good thief,

                              Yeah it was brilliant... very gritty and pretty damn harsh in parts though. Definitely not your typical gangster movie.
