Soooooooooo Innovating.

You guys dropped the ball.

But.. At lease AVN thought PornDollar's Evolution System was print worthy..

When you guys ask to licence the technology.. I'll think more about it.

Thanks dude, I'm counting on your support along with the rest of the GFY family so please vote for us! I wasn't @ the 2000 awards and I don't know both sides of the story so I can't comment. However, this past year has been extremely busy for us .. we've made webmasters millions of dollars w/ our programs so this award would be sweet. :thumbsup

titmowse 11-18-2003 02:44 AM

congratualtions to the nominees :thumbsup

the award is really pretty :winkwink:

KraZ 11-18-2003 07:30 AM

There really should be a category for resource sites though... otherwise congrats to the nominees :1orglaugh

Probably it will work like the Award for the Venus Sho in BErlin or any other Award I have been to? Tell me how many tickets you need for the party, or how large your presentation on the fair will be, or how much do you sponsor - and I will tell you which award you will get

No matter what, you can't please everyone with any kind of award system.

I give XBiz credit for stepping it up and sticking with it. Rewards are a great way to give extra notice to worthy companies, not something to be bashed. Just duplicated. Make more awards. Not happy with them, do your own awards.

I did.

Been doing them for 5 years now, The Big Woody Awards at the Players Ball.

I'll keep doing them because it's an honest award, for fun and to help give cool people great exposure. I personally don't like the selection process in most Awards, so I pick them myself. This way I know I'm giving them to the right people, I feel I have a good measure of what's up. The Woody's are not the same as the XBiz awards. XBiz went the other direction. Real awards for the categories that matter most when doing business. They even have a system they feel is the best process for an honest outcome.

My hats off to XBiz whether I agree or not with the nominees and winners. The point is our industry is starting to care enough about others to even do an awards. Awards shouldn't be slammed, they should be embraced. Anyone can make their own awards and I recommend more people should.

Proof that my awards aren't fixed.

Lensman won Pimp Of The Year!!!!

and he sponsored the Player Haters Ball.

Anyway, props to XBiz.

I totally agree with you sans the notation here that they are real awards for the categories that matter most when doing business. Once again I state the obvious which is where is the most important category that one would expect to see?

I think the true meaning of awards is being lost in midst of all of this. Awards are meant to be fun and not necessarily proof of a person or company's acheivements. Awards should be the icing on the cake, nothing more...nothing less.

I have been in this industry since 1997 and I have never even been nominated for an award. I don't care. I know that I am good at what I do and I enjoy doing it and that is all that matters.

Amen sister.

You want accomplishments, know that you are getting paid. Try and get paid better. That's the accomplishment that matters most.

Tonda, you need an award for the "Most Under Rated Playette". That award can only happen at a Players Ball. That's the fun of the award, you can make up a title to fit the person and everyone can see the winner get the award, then try and find out more on how they can do business together.

princess 11-18-2003 12:17 PM

D-Money! you're soo creative!

XBizLori 11-18-2003 12:40 PM

D, can't wait for the Players Ball.

Awards are the icing on the cake of hard work. Everyone deserves one.

The companies who submitted their name for nomination just wanted it that much more.

Congrats to all! winners annouced in Vegas.

Are those two companies no longereven worthy of nominations?

Who are the judges this year?

I thought it was silly last year, and even sillier this year.

I'll be somewhere else for this event.

JMHO

I wonder how many affiliates those "best sponsors" got. We, DTICASH, have 15,000 affiliates signed up, in Japan alone. And we operate from America.

If we haven't been nominatd even once, this award is biased.
