Do you have a problem collecting something?

I admit it - I have a problem. I see a nice evans enamel lift arm lighter and I HAVE to HAVE IT. It's a sickness and it's cost me close to $100K so far......probally cheaper to get a shrink at this point and ask for help with the problem.

lol - there are soo few collectors of these specific lighters that the theif wouldn't have anywhere to sell them. Probally only 20-30 people who care about them out there to pay any real money for them, and they would be easy to find.

i am collecting toys now again, as said in other thread i am now collecting Ninja turtles and Heman series, its cost me around 1k so far this month,

and ebay is an addiction especially for heman toys there is so many variants and i want them all, i am gonna put up big shelves up in my basement and put all the figured i collect (in thei boxes) on the shelves.

How do you store that stuff so it doesn't damage over time? You mentioned you leave the action figures in the box? Someone mentioned to becareful of those twisty ties that tie up the action figures in the box to hold them up in the box. Over time they will turn the clothes, or whatever its tied against, a different color..darker color i believe.

well i just never open the box or touch it, or open the main glued package where the figures are on. i am going to make a shelve unit for my basement and keep them behind glass from keeping people grubby hands off of.

My buddy collects stupid football, baseball, hockey figures. So its his bday and got him one for like $130us, IMO its a total waste of money but he likes it.
