Anyone gonna listen to Rush Limbaughs return?
I actually listen to Rush fairly often even though I disagree with him an awful lot. I hope he was able to get his addiction under control as I never wish those kinds of things on anybody. That said even though I think the drug war is an insanely stupid policy I can't help but think Rush deserves a bit of what he asked others to receive after preaching about how "too many white men" were getting away with drug abuse and that users should be locked up. Always getting on other celebrities drug problems and making derisive comments like "Jerry Garcia is just another dead doper" and the like.
It's been amazing watching how people have rationalized how him doing illegal acts is so different than anyone else all of a sudden. I've talked with people who are fierce drug warriors who flip flopped and want to ignore his illegal activity and excude it. That drives me nuts. Any thoughts out there about this?

Yes, my thoughts are that Rush Limbaugh is a hypocritical extreme right wing douchebag whos diarreah of the mouth is an affront to all interesting talk radio out there at the moment.
That being said, the only interesting and entertaining talk radio out there at the moment is the Phil Hendrie Show. |
