What's the deal with Asian traffic? I never hear shit about it, but there must be a lot out there. Good for dialers?

Btw, could anyone translate this: Heise news ticker This is the end of the world... |
You probably redirected 19 thousand Americans living in Germany. GIs and contractors with credit cards looking for some porn........

guys stop dreaming....germany releases almost every 2 weeks some new dialer terror news....the people know now very good about it....at some of you it sill works, but not in future......
Dialer will die soon.... |
@slinx
Theres nothing more written, than the fact, that a part of the german government closed some dialers.......to be continued |

don't think so. They are making every company register there phone numbers and dialers so they can better rugulate the current dialer and telecom billing situation. This is very positive .... the scammers will get booted and the legitamate telecom billing companies will have a fair and governed market to compete in. The fact of the matter is... those companies that dont have their shit together will not be competing in the new market place. |

But if you test your traffic by either sending it to a credit card site or a dialer site, you'll likely make more with dialer. |

And everybody thinks all dialers are evil. That's not true. Here in Europe, dialers are far more customer friendly than in the US. They just charge you ?0,70 or ?0,80 per minute which is really a reasonable price.

Dialers are _NOT_ preferred in germany, thats a dream. |
It's almost all bank payments in Germany right? I had a long talk with Ines of Sexmoney.com about that.

yes, please enlighten us. Which western/central EU country's citizens use mainly CCs to access premium web content? Name just one. Just because you get CC sales doesn't mean there is no dialer revenue to be generated from a particular country. |
You shouldnt compare the creditcard rules with usa.....
If you want in germany a credit card you must almost kiss the ass of your bank. You must show a lot of things...the bank must trust you and much more shit. Now i live in spain...here you get a card already when you create a new bank account....in germany not... The SignUps in germany are most times ELV = Elektrisches Lastschrift Verfahren (Wire). Thats fact. Not much germans will ever trust to type their Credit Card Numbers to sign up for a membership.......why???? because everything there works via wire transfer. Here in Spain, everybody has a card and pais day by day, with it. In Germany almost no one. And let me alone with sexmoney, better call it like some german people: chargebackmoney You see in germany more and more times horror news about dialers, and more and more victims of dialers.........to believe in the dialer future with your german traffic, will be a fatal mistake. |
20k traffic & $0,00, That's bad bro.
I geuss you the only one that's promoting ADS or nobody else that's promoting them want to show his stats ? |

yes they callED ist like this.....but times change. You can vivist their support forum. The most used word is CHARGEBACK there. There are already people what are scared, that they dont finish the month with a minus in front of their earnings.

My current chargeback ratio @ sexmoney (germany ELV) is about 22 % ... on other german programs you have to live with 10 - 40 % chargebacks so... sexmoney = chargebackmoney :Graucho |
Yes dialers make sense from a sponsors point of view
- Send EU traffic to the CC processor and pay $35 to the affiliate *or* - Send EU traffic to dialer, cash in on the revenues and pay $0 to the affiliate And ratios look way better then too, all those pesky european hits aren't even counted towards the unique ratios so people will come back here rejoicing over their 1:80 ratios with just US/CA traffic wohoooooo |
You are all right:
I would guess in Germany you got about 30% Debit card 30% Dialer 25% Credit card 5% VoiceCall 5% SMS 5% Others (Pre-paid cards, etc.) |
Debit Card? go to germany and ask 100 People on the street. Maybe 5 maximum 10 will know what a debit card is.

What about those who have neither a Visa/MC etc. nor a regular modem..?
They may not be "too many" yet but we're talking about Europe here... it's highly industrialised & broadband will kick off faster than card-usage will. Enter SMS-billing or pay-by-call accepting cellular calls... that's what i think would rock! ;) |

sms-billing is a good idea. |
sms billing would work more than perfect !

I'm still waiting to see some PRINT screens of ADS
