yeah it is too bad. I thought they had a good thing going. It was a good way for bands to have cd's made without dishing out a lot of cash up front.

There is a big opportunity now for someone else to step in and try to make a business model based on small bands work. It's been tried many times without much success, but someone needs to find the right model.
How many thousands of small bands are trying to figure out where to move their MP3s right now? |

....WalMart Music Store... Smart move by C|Net... though.. maybe they are going to sell it to WalMart for a bazillion dollars? They own MP4.com too btw. The battle of the online music-on-demand music stores has just begun... I would think that owning MP3.com and MP4.com could give you a slight advantage |
